Nuke'um invited me to go skiing with him and some buddies this weekend.
This was me and my dad's conversation regarding the ski trip.

Me: DAAADDDDD!
Dad: *silence*
Me: DAAAAAADDDDDD!
Dad: *silence*
Me: DDDDAAAAAAAAADDDDDDDDDDYYYYYYYY!!!!
Dad: ...oh, did you need something?
Me: *facedesk* No. I'm just saying "DDDAAAADDDDDDYYYY" cuz I wanted to know what it sounded like when I screamed it at the top of my lungs.
Dad: Okay then. *leaves*
Me: NO! WAIT!
Dad: hmm?
Me: Can I go skiing with some buddies on Sunday?!
Dad: Do you know how to ski?
Me: No, but--
Dad: Should we have Chinese for dinner?
Me: NO! THAT'S NOT--
Dad: I thought you liked Chinese!
Me: I DO!
Dad: Then we'll get Chinese!
Me: But wait--
Dad: I know, I know. I'll get you a fortune cookie.
Me: NO! THAT'S NOT--
Dad: What? I thought you liked fortune cookies!
Me: I DO!
Dad: Then what?!
Me: I wanted to ask--
Mom: *comes in* Do you know where my phone went?
Dad: It should be next to the computer...
Me: DAD!
Mom: Okay; did you say you were gonna get Chinese food?
Dad: Yes
Me: DAD! I'M TALKING TO YOU!
Dad: I'm aware.
Me: CAN I ASK YOU SOMETHING NOW?!
Dad: Not now, I have to get Chinese take-out.
Me: BUT--
Dad: Ask your mom! I'll see you guys later!
Me: ...*bangs head against wall repeatedly*

And of course, my mom just HAD to be on the phone when I was asking her, so she just waved me off and said "later, I'm busy."
